The Air Jordan 1 Retro High “J Balvin” is a Holiday 2020 collaboration between the popular Latin artist and Jordan Brand on Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe. With the release of the “Colores Y Vibras,” which translates to “Colors and Vibes” in English, the Colombia native becomes the first Latin musician to collaborate with Jordan Brand, a monumental achievement. As for the design, the upper features a canvas construction with a rainbow-like assortment of colors baked into its look. Jagged panels on the collar, eyelets, heel, and forefoot further the singular look of J Balvin’s design. Other details include multicolor sewn-on Swooshes on either side, a black “Wings” emblem on the collar, and a pink nylon tongue with mismatching tongue tags that feature an orange patch with a black Jumpman on the right shoe and a green patch with a yellow smiley face on the left shoe. Exposed foam breaks through the top of the jagged collar and the artist’s yellow smiley face arrives in patch form on the heel.
